pinion question

i was wondering Wat size pinion would be rite for my sakura d3 i am running a 10.5t novak ballistic brushless motor. wat size would be good? would a size 26 be good or no?

it all depends on 1) your CS ratio 2) your track size 3) your driving style and 4) operating temperatures. With drifting, we typically do not need to worry so much about operating temperatures...but the first three are very important.. what spur are you running now? I would probably drop in a random pinion like a 23-24t and just gear up or down accordingly to your feel. If you want more top end/rpm...go to a larger pinion. if you want more torque or "low throttle control", go to a smaller one.
